Registration Process - Returning EGHA Players, New to Hockey, Transfers and Imports

Registration for the 2018 - 2019 season is now open. There are new processes for registration this season, so please ensure you are following the processes listed below.

Registration Process - Players Returning to EGHA:

Please register online at Edmonton Girls Hockey online registration. New for EGHA this season is the use of TeamSnap for registrations.

If you have a registration or volunteer credit with EGHA, please start the registration, but before you check out, contact the Registrar at registrar@egha.ab.ca. The credit will be applied to the registration and then you will be able to finish the checkout process.

To find your player's Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) number, you may refer to a receipt from last season; sign in to the system we used for registration last season (please note: if you use this option, you will not be able to register in this system. You will be able to view previous receipts that will have the HCR number listed. It is a very long number in square brackets after your daughter's name and year of birth); or you may contact the Registrar (registrar@egha.ab.ca).

Registration Process - Players who are new to EGHA, but played with a different association last season:

The online registration process is NOT AVAILABLE for players who are transferring to EGHA. Please complete the Transfer to EGHA and New to Hockey Form. Once you have completed this form, please submit the following documents by email to the Registrar at registrar@egha.ab.ca:

  • copy of Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residency (copy of a utility bill)
  • signed Parent Declaration Form
  • Once the transfer has been approved, you will be notified by the Registrar, and then will be able to register online
  • Registrations will not be accepted without the required supporting documentation.

Registration Process - Players who live outside of Edmonton, but do not have a female team to play with (Imports):

Registration Process - Players who wish to try out for Bantam Elite, Midget Elite or Midget AAA:

EGHA does not roster players for Bantam Elite, Midget Elite or Midget AAA. Please check with your club regarding registration dates and processes. Players who live in Edmonton at the Elite level must register with Edmonton Female Athletic Club (EFAC). Players at the AAA level may declare which club(s) they would like to try out for. Please visit the Hockey Alberta Female Hockey Page for further details.

If you are trying out at the AAA or Elite level, please do not register with EGHA. Registration with EGHA is completed only if you are released from your Elite or AAA tryout. Instructions are on our webpage at Registration Process for Released Elite and AAA Players.
