Goaltender Development Resources


Hockey Canada has a Long Term Development Plan in place for goaltenders. The below resources pull directly from the LTDP to help goaltenders get the skills they need to succeed.

Goaltender Resources

Goaltending is a critical aspect of team play and direct and consistent unique coaching skills is required. Goalies require the same coaching attention as all forwards and defenders. Coaches should plan to focus at last 15 minutes per practice towards goaltender skill development.
