Note for U9 and U11 players: U9 and U11 players will register with their home association for the season. The fees presented above are the EGHA registration fees. If your player will be trying out for the U9 or U11 Tier 1 teams, you will still register with EGHA, but a tryout registration with Edmonton Female Hockey Alliance (EFHA) will also be required. Registration for tryouts will start June 1 and can be found at www.hockeyedmonton.ca. Players who are successful in their tryout will have their registrations transferred to EFHA, and EFHA will arrange to collect differences in fees with the families. Players who are not successful in their tryouts will return to EGHA to start the evaluation process for team formation.
Payment Methods
EGHA accepts payment by VISA, MasterCard, VISA and MasterCard debit, or by etransfer.
- Credit card payments may be entered during online registration. Our payment processing also excepts Visa Debit and MasterCard Debit.
- If your player is transferring from another organization, the credit card payment will be processed at the time of registration, after the transfer has been completed.
- Etransfers must be sent to payments@egha.ab.ca (no password necessary).
- PLEASE INCLUDE your player's name and category (e.g. John Smith - U9) in the notes field of the e-transfer so it is clear where the payment is to be applied.
- NOTE: sending an etransfer does not mean we are setting up automatic withdrawal. If you are sending an etransfer and paying in installments, you must ensure that you are sending each payment by its deadline.
- Select External Payment when you have payments coming from a third party (such as KidSport, JumpStart, First Nations, etc.)
- If you have a payment coming from KidSport, JumpStart, a First Nation or any other association, you must notify the registrar at registrar@egha.ab.ca. Failure to notify the registrar may result in your player's registration not being accepted.
- You are still responsible to meet all payment dates and deadlines. If you are not able to meet those deadlines, you must contact registrar@egha.ab.ca.
- Cheques will only be accepted from third-party organizations or financial assistance organizations. No personal cheques will be accepted.
- Directors will not accept cash for registration payments at any time.
Payment Installment Option
For all categories, EGHA offers a three-payment installment option for registration fees.
- The first payment must be made at the time of registration. Registrations will not be accepted without the first installment being paid.
- The second payment is due on August 31, 2023
- The third payment is due on September 30, 2023
- Installments may be set up online by credit card or debit card at the time of registration.
- If you are paying by etransfer, you are required to ensure the first payment is paid at the time of registration and the second and third payments are paid by the due dates noted above.
- If the first payment does not accompany the registration, your player WILL NOT be eligible to participate in evaluations or to start the season.
- If the second and third payments are not paid on time, your player WILL NOT be eligible to continue participating with her team until the payment is paid in full. Players will be suspended until payments are brought up to date.
- If you receive financial assistance for payments, please email registrar@egha.ab.ca to advise of the funding. Families are still required to meet installment requirements when getting financial support.

Volunteer and Registration Credits
If you have a volunteer or registration credit with EGHA, credits should be available when you register in RAMP. If you do not see a credit, please email the registrar at registrar@egha.ab.ca.
Third-Party Payments and Assistance Payments
EGHA understands that some families receive funding from third-party organizations or financial assistance organizations. Families are still required to ensure payments are received by the applicable due dates noted above. If your funding does not cover the full installment, you are responsible to ensure the balance of the installment is paid in full. For families who are expecting payments from third-party programs, please select External Payment.
Families receiving financial assistance must notify the registrar of your approvals at registrar@egha.ab.ca.
