Registration Process - Returning EGHA Players, New to Hockey, Transfers and Imports

Registration Process - Players Returning to EGHA:

Please register through TeamSnap using the following links:

To find your player's Hockey Canada Registration (HCR) number, you may refer to a receipt from last season or you may find it by signing into eHockey. If you cannot locate it, please email the Registrar (registrar@egha.ab.ca).

Please note: a valid Respect in Sport Parent certification is required for all returning players. Respect in Sport Parent and Respect in Sport Activity Leader are not interchangeable, and the Parent program is required for all player registrations.

 

Registration Process - Players who are new to EGHA, but played with a different association last season:

The online registration process is NOT AVAILABLE for players who are transferring to EGHA. Please complete the Transfer to EGHA and New to Hockey Form. Once you have completed this form, please submit the following documents by email to the Registrar at registrar@egha.ab.ca:

  • copy of Birth Certificate
  • completed Parent Declaration Form including proof of residency (utility bill)
  • Respect in Sport Parent program. This is a mandatory program, and your player is not eligible to participate unless this is completed. Note: Respect in Sport Parent and Respect in Sport Activity Leader are not interchangeable. The Parent program is required for your child's registration. Transfers cannot be submitted without a valid RIS qualification.
  • Once the transfer has been approved, you will be notified by the Registrar, and then will be able to register online
  • Registrations will not be accepted without the required supporting documentation.

 

Registration Process - Players who are new to hockey (have never played before):

Please complete the Transfer to EGHA and New to Hockey Form. Please submit the following documents by email to the Registrar at registrar@egha.ab.ca:

  • copy of Birth Certificate
  • completed Parent Declaration Form including proof of residency (utility bill)
  • Respect in Sport Parent program. This is a mandatory program, and your player is not eligible to participate unless this is completed. Note: Respect in Sport Parent and Respect in Sport Activity Leader are not interchangeable. The Parent program is required for your child's registration.
  • Registrations will not be accepted without the required supporting documentation.
  • For players who participated in the Lil' Oilers Program, please also submit a copy of the front and the back of the Lil' Oilers coupon to registrar@egha.ab.ca

Registration Process - Players who live outside of Edmonton, but do not have a female team to play with (Imports):

The online registration process is NOT AVAILABLE for players who are not resident to EGHA. Please complete the Transfer to EGHA and New to Hockey Form. Once you have completed this form, please submit the following documents by email to the Registrar at registrar@egha.ab.ca:

  • copy of Birth Certificate
  • completed Parent Declaration Form including proof of residency (utility bill)
  • completed Player Movement Form - please note, this form must be completed at the beginning of EVERY season your player is requesting to play with EGHA
  • Once the share of your player's file has been approved, you will be notified by the Registrar, and then will be able to register online
  • Registrations will not be accepted without the required supporting documentation.

 

Registration Process - Players who wish to try out for Bantam Elite, Midget Elite or Midget AAA:

EGHA does not roster players for Bantam Elite, Midget Elite or Midget AAA. Please check with your club regarding registration dates and processes. Players who live in Edmonton at the Elite level must register with Edmonton Female Athletic Club (EFAC). Players at the AAA level may declare which club(s) they would like to try out for. If you are trying out at the AAA or Elite level, please do not register with EGHA. Registration with EGHA is completed only if you are released from your Elite or AAA tryout. Instructions are on our webpage at Registration Process for Released Elite and AAA Players.
